What We Collect

Your Coordinates (But We Don’t Keep Them)

When you paste a map link or coordinates, we process them to convert to Garmin format. We don’t store, log, or remember what you converted. Once you get your result, it’s gone from our servers.

Basic Website Data

Like most websites, we automatically collect some basic info: your IP address, browser type, and when you visited. This helps us keep the site running smoothly and fix any issues.

Analytics (Only If You Allow It)

We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how people use Coordy. This helps us make it better. But we only turn these on if you give us permission through our consent banner.

How We Use Your Information

Convert your coordinates

That’s our main job. We process your input and give you back Garmin-ready coordinates.

Keep the service running

We monitor basic usage to prevent abuse and keep Coordy fast and reliable.

Supabase (Our Backend)

We use Supabase to process your coordinates. They might see your IP address and the coordinates you convert, but they follow their own privacy policy and don’t use this data for anything else.

Google Analytics (Optional)

If you consent, Google Analytics helps us understand how people use Coordy. Google has their own privacy policy for this data.

Microsoft Clarity (Optional)

If you consent, Microsoft Clarity shows us how people interact with the site (like where they click). Microsoft has their own privacy policy for this data.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Turn analytics on or off anytime (use the “Manage Consent” link in the footer)
• Ask us what data we have about you (spoiler: probably not much)
• Request we delete any data we have
• Stop using Coordy anytime

• We use industry-standard security practices
• We don’t store sensitive data longer than needed
• Our servers are regularly updated and monitored
