Here’s the deal:
Coordy is a simple web tool that converts map links and coordinates into formats that work with Garmin devices. That’s it. We’re not trying to be anything more complicated than that.
We provide this service for free because we think coordinate conversion shouldn’t be a pain. Our goal is to help you get from a Google Maps link to your next adventure as quickly as possible.
We work hard to make sure Coordy gives you accurate coordinates. We test it regularly, use reliable conversion methods, and fix bugs as soon as we find them.
Like any tool, Coordy isn’t perfect. If you’re using coordinates for something important (like emergency services, aviation, or critical navigation), please verify them with another source. We’re great for hiking and road trips, but always use official sources for life-critical situations.
We aim to keep Coordy running 24/7, but sometimes things happen:
We’ll do our best to minimize downtime and let you know about planned maintenance when possible.
We don’t store your coordinates or map links. Once we convert them and send back the result, we forget what you entered. For more details, check out our Privacy Policy.
By using Coordy, you’re okay with us processing your coordinates temporarily to give you the conversion. That’s pretty much it.
Coordy is free for everyone, but please be reasonable:
We might need to limit access if someone’s using too many resources, but we’ll try to contact you first to work something out.
The Coordy website, design, and code belong to us. You’re welcome to:
But please don’t copy our design, code, or content without asking. If you want to build something similar, we’re happy to chat about it.
We might need to update these terms occasionally. When we do, we’ll:
If you keep using Coordy after we update the terms, that means you’re okay with the changes.
These terms are governed by the laws where we operate. If there’s ever a legal dispute (which we hope never happens), we’ll try to resolve it through friendly discussion first.
Got questions about these terms? Think something should be different? We’re always open to feedback and suggestions.
You can reach us through our website or find us on social media. We promise to respond like humans, not robots.
Thanks for using Coordy! We built it to solve a simple problem: getting coordinates from maps to GPS devices without the hassle. We hope it makes your adventures a little easier.
If you have ideas for making Coordy better, we’d love to hear them. After all, this tool exists to help you get where you’re going.
